Leg Notes:
Straight from KCNI to KJZP for another quick run. In fact, I think that this was my quickest (and not even fastest) ever -- and that's even with a downwind leg on arrival! (David Thorburn-Gundlach)

From KJZP (Pickens County (GA)) 2014-03-14 17:24:29 to KJZP (Pickens County (GA)) 2014-03-14 17:40:55 [00:16:00] with 1 day and 0 night landings.

Leg Notes:
Okey dokey... After some poking and twisting on the flap control rod, we're off for a test flight. The lean is distinctly smaller, but it's still there. Back we go for another round. (David Thorburn-Gundlach)

From KJZP (Pickens County (GA)) 2014-03-14 18:04:10 to KCNI (Cherokee County Municipal Airport) 2014-03-14 18:21:02 [00:17:00] with 1 day and 0 night landings.
David Thorburn-Gundlach (pilot-L) / Laura Thorburn-Gundlach (copilot) /
Leg Notes:
That was it! We'll need more time to really try fine-grained experimentation in calm air -- and with lots of variables -- but this is already orders of magnitude better :-)
Headed down the higway for another long final, but someone else was approaching first, so I turned South early, then crossed over the top, then looped around to a normal downwind to give whoever it was time to get in and get down. Plus I love that dropping 3/4 turn anyway :-)
